Itinerary:
Day 1 ArrivalArrive Geneva - transfer to Annecy. Our excursions begin in the Annecy area.
Target Species: We will be looking for breeding White spotted Bluethroat Other species in this area include Short-toed Eagle, Black Kite, Woodlark, Cetti's and Melodious Warblers. Bee-eaters can also usually be found here, Cirl Bunting and Red-backed Shrike are not uncommon. Wryneck can often be found in this area

Day 2 Annecy
Annecy - Grand Bornand. At a mountain site in Haute-Savoie (France) we will be walking up from a 1600m pass where we usually find a good selection of mountain species.
Target Species: Citril Finch, Rufous-tailed Rock-thrush, Water Pipit. Alpine Accentor, Alpine Chough, Raven, Ring Ouzel, Golden Eagle, Lammergeyer, Northern Wheatear, Whinchat, and perhaps Ptarmigan and Snow Finch. Ibex and Alpine Marmot are usually seen, and with luck, the scarce Chamois.

Day 3 Grand Bornand - Leuk
We will also spend some time in the Valais area (Switzerland) where we will be looking for more Alpine species.
Target Species: Nutcracker, Ortolan Bunting, Rock Bunting, Crag Martin, Alpine Swift, Bonelli's Warbler, Honey-Buzzard etc., and last but not least the dazzling Wallcreeper. From time to time more southerly species such as Sub-alpine Warbler turn up at this site.

Day 4 Leuk - Cudrefin
Around Lake Neuchâtel, we usually find more interesting species.
Target Species: Great Reed and Savi's Warblers, Bearded Reedling, Goosander, Red-crested Pochard, Golden Oriole, breeding colonies of Yellow-legged and Black-headed Gulls, and migrating waders depending on time of year.

Day 5 Cudrefin
In the forests of the nearby Jura, we can seek out more coniferous woodland species.
Target Species: Black Woodpecker, Willow Tit, Citril Finch, Siskin, Crossbill, as well as Pygmy and Tengmalm's Owls, and luck could bring us Hazel Grouse.
